Slane Farm Hostel, Cottages And Camping

I had a wonderful stay at Slane Farm Hostel, Cottages And Camping. The setting was peaceful and unique, providing a different experience compared to traditional hotels. The cottage room was spacious and cozy, with a well-equipped kitchen and living area. I also appreciated the proximity to Slane Castle and town, made exploring the area convenient.

Location may not be ideal for non-drivers, as it is a bit of a hike into town.

Convenient car park close to pitches. Safe for kids. Lovely forest to explore, and a chance to collect firewood. The staff loaned guests fire pit. Kitchen is dry and has different appliances for convenience. Ideal as a base for exploring the area. Very accommodating and friendly service; host offered guests a lift to local attraction.

Bathrooms could have had better pressure for the showers. The bedding in the cottage was uncomfortable, old, and in need of replacement, and the cleanliness could have been better.

This charming countryside accommodation is located near many historical sites, making it perfect for exploring the area. Set just outside a charming village, it's an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. the cottages are well-equipped with everything you need, and the staff provide fantastic service. a great place to stay if you're visiting the area to see the fascinating historical attractions.

The bathroom could have been a little cleaner. Despite this small issue, the rest of the facilities were fantastic.

The family-run farm hostel offers beautiful cottages and a warm, relaxing atmosphere. the staff are friendly and welcoming, making it a great place for families with small kids. the location is perfect, with great bars and restaurants nearby, and attractions like Newgrange just a short distance away.

The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and provided services that exceeded my expectations, such as dry cleaning and laundry. The room amenities were superb, with a cozy sitting area and a convenient dining table. Additionally, the garden furniture allowed me to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The hotel also had a leisure room with a flat-screen TV, perfect for winding down after a busy day of exploring.

The location of this accommodation was perfect for my trip as it was near many historic sites. the staff were friendly and provided great service. The accommodation provided all the necessary amenities and the cottages had a cosy atmosphere. I appreciated the complementary milk, teabags and coffee.

We spent our Christmas holiday at a hostel in the outskirts of a lovely small town. the owners provided a warm and friendly welcome, upgrading us to a private cottage which was a pleasant surprise. the location was very convenient for exploring the surrounding countryside and taking long walks in the hills. we appreciated the on-site kitchen facilities which allowed us to prepare our own meals.

the communal areas were not very well-maintained, and the kitchen was quite basic, which made cooking more challenging than we had anticipated.

Friendly staff and free upgrade to a larger cottage were great. The beautiful stone-fronted farm houses added a lovely touch to the decor. Facilities were excellent and it was great value for money. The picturesque location in Slane was a bonus. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.
